Vanessa Rae Garcia has been working professionally in the theatre realm for the last 8 years. She is an educator, director, and is a co-founder of Viva Theatre Co. She began working on films in 2011and is the co-founder of Screenville Films. Some of her film credits include, Lilia by Sam Lerma, Wolf by Ya'ke Smith, and Squeezebox by Sam Lerma. She is a current member of the San Antonio Film Society and is the Volunteer Coordinator for Alamo City Film Festival.
